If you are a running a business, your business thrives off of sales. That’s the whole point right? My Millionaire Mode Mama Community expressed their biggest focus was increasing their sales, but they didn’t know how. I crafted a special training for them and today I am sharing with you the following guidelines on how to increase your sales.
1. Increase the value you are bringing to your prospects and customers
Many of you have your own online community like a Facebook group. This is where you are free to promote your business. However if you have a group and you only use it to post “for sale” posts then you are probably not the owner of an engaged community. Here are a couple of tips for how to successfully run an online community:
-Quality over quantity
When it comes to posting in your online community it is more about the quality than the number of times you post. You should be focusing on bringing value to your group. Ways to bring value vary from educating your audience to motivating your audience to making them laugh with you. Rather than filling your group with irrelevant posts and “for sale” posts just because you think you have to, try focusing on bringing really valuable posts when you choose to show up.
-Focus on the benefits/value
Talk about your products and services in a way that shows the benefits and value for someone. They are going to be more convinced and see themselves using your product or service when you tell stories of the impact it has made. Rather than making the focus on why they should buy now, just simply share the benefits and show the transformation that is possible with your products or services.
2. Increase Your Presence
A major part of building that online audience and seeing success in your business is that you have to SHOW UP. If you want to increase your sales, you need to increase your presence. This can be done in so many ways from showing up every day online to doing something new like incorporating LIVE video into your strategy. Wherever you are needing to step up and show up, it’s time to take the leap and do it.
3. Honing in on your strategy
The way you are going to make sales in your business is by having a clear strategy. Running your business and posting blindly helps no one. If you are showing up just to show up with no strategy in place, you won’t be able to measure if what you are doing is working or not. You need to get clear on what your goal is and know how to meet that goal with action steps.
Step 1: Come up with a financial goal. The best way to do this is to set a monthly income goal you want to hit.
Step 2: Figure out exactly how many clients you need to hit that goal or how many products you need to sell. When you know this, this will help you with the next step.
Step 3: Plan out your action steps according to the statistic that the average person needs to see something 5 to 7 times before they decide to buy. This means if you plan to sell 3 spots in your coaching program, your audience needs a minimum of 5 different opportunities to learn about your coaching program.
This could look like:
a post telling a story of where you were before you hired a business coach and what transformation you went through
1 post describing a specific pain point your client is walking through
1 LIVE video giving value and then inviting them to sign up for your group coaching program
a LIVE video of you interviewing your business coach or a previous client
1 post of you describing the coaching program in detail and then giving a call to action on how to book a call with you to see if they are the right fit
The main point? Posting ONCE about something isn’t enough.
Using these strategies is sure to get you increased sales. Remember that it takes time to build up that engagement and raving fans, but if you start today you will see these results. In order to increase your sales you need to increase the value you bring, increase your presence, and hone in on your strategy.
