I stumbled into photography completely by “accident.” I borrowed my husband’s (boyfriend back then) mother’s camera so I could photograph my best friend and her daughter. During that session, I found my passion and have been on an incredible journey ever since. Little did I know that April 2014 was the beginning of my family’s legacy.
Photography is so important to me, because it is a way for me to cope with grief on my worst days. I have lost two younger brothers (one half & one step to be exact) due to cancer and unimaginable circumstances. I know the importance of having pictures and being able to capture LIFE.
Photography sessions don’t always have to be posed and full of smiles. I refer to my sessions as experiences because they serve so many purposes including a time for healing, reconnecting, and just being together.
I will continue to photograph for as long as I am able. This is my God-calling.
IT ALL STARTED BY ACCIDENT...
