It means that you are not only doing what you think is going to move the needle, but you are also invested in hearing what others say about being successful. 

A lot of photographers are quick to invest and learn, but very slow to actually implement and try something new. In order to be successful with your education, mentorships, and the programs you are investing in, you need to be open to implementing something. I want to walk you through how this looks, so you’ll be encouraged to make those changes in your business.

Student Success Story

One of the people that I had the pleasure of working with is one of my blueprint students, Mickey. And she has this big goal of going full time in her business. She wants to set herself up for success. Not only does she want to be profitable and have amazing sessions, but she also wants to be sustainable.  She wants to build a business that’s going to be around for a long time.  One of my favorite things about her is that she implements the things that we talk about. Even if she’s hesitant, she still does the work. We still have the hard conversations.

I honestly just want to shout her out a little bit right now. At the end of the day, she chose to implement things, even though it was scary. She chose to really specialize in portraits with pets, and go all in. Then, she had someone book her highest session package a few days later. It’s because she got specific and made a commitment to herself. She took a leap of faith even though she was scared.

Insanity is simply doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you’re not happy,  then you need to change something.  If you are using the same strategies and courses without implementing a single thing, you are going to be stuck. That’s not going to move your business forward.

Wrap Up

Ask yourself the following: Am I being coachable? Am I at a place where I want to go all in? Will I not only invest in my business, but also implement change? That’s where the return on your investment comes from!
