Learn How To Grow Your Photography Business to Full Time Income This Year!
There is something about spring that just puts me in a decluttering and organizing mood. This blog was inspired by that feeling. We are covering the 4 things to revamp in your photography business this spring.
The first thing I want you to revamp this spring is your Investment & Style Guides to reflect the spring and summer seasons. These are one of the things we often forget to update again and again. Update those color palettes and outfit inspiration pictures.
If you are looking for a new template, our Etsy shop has some amazing templates that are ready for you to customize. You can change the colors, fonts, and images to reflect your photography brand.
The second thing I Want you to work on is updating your workflows and email templates for clients. Typically this is something most of us work on during our slow season, but it’s really important to update it each season. Read through all of your templates and make sure you love it.
If you haven’t updated the images on your website in a long time, now’s your chance. I would also encourage you to update your own branding photos to use throughout your website pages too. Swap sessions with a photographer if you need updated images. Go utilize our free Facebook group and find someone in your area.
Bonus tip for you – Rename your images with SEO keywords before you upload them to your website. Here’s an example when naming an image with SEO – If you’re a Dallas Lifestyle Newborn Photographer, you can rename one of your photos to something like Dallas-In-Home-Newborn-Photographer. Think about your location, niche, and describing the images when selecting keywords.
Let’s face it, we are strapped for time. From momming to photographing, there aren’t enough hours in the day. That’s why I want to invite you to listen to an episode from the Called to Both Podcast with my friend Joy Michelle. In Episode 82, Joy shares 3 ways you can scale your business income without adding any extra time. Can I get an amen?! Called to both is a weekly business podcast for ambitious women building BOTH the business and the life they love.
Just like you would spring clean your home, you can spring clean your studio. If you don’t have a studio, you can clean out your client closet. Do you need to update your client closet images? This is a great time to go through all of your props and photography equipment as well.
There you have it! Go take advantage of the pretty spring weather and freshen up all the things in your photography business.
